"Mango" is an album I made throughout my sophomore year of high school. It consists of nine tracks which I wrote, produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered myself. My primary collaborator, Alison Ames, also provided vocals and creative input for various tracks.
While the project was never meant to be taken seriously, I am still proud of the creativity and ambition you can find on display within the record. As my first full body of work, I feel like I was able to cultivate such a weird and fascinating world for the album to live in. There are a few sincere moments I appreciate, a couple of "earworm" hooks that got stuck in my peers' heads, and some tracks which I find to be unexpectedly interpretive. I created all of the visuals in support of the album as well, including the album artwork and two music videos, and more.
